Glossary
Clear terms.
No filler.
The words on a lead record, and what each one does.
At a glance
Each term names one thing on the lead. The right-hand column is what it does not do.
| Term | It means | It does not mean |
|---|---|---|
| Partial | Stored before submit | No save consent |
| Recovery message | One message | Consent does not name the follow-up |
| Score of 80 or above | An alert | A sent reply |
| Reply | Approved knowledge only | A price or rate that knowledge does not allow |
- Partial
- A lead stored before the form is submitted. It exists only when consent to save was recorded. That storage is form lead capture.
- Approval
- A reply state. A new form starts here, and a person sends it. The send is lead follow-up.
- First reply
- The message sent from your domain after the form is submitted. It is lead follow-up.
- Score
- A number from 0 to 100 on a lead, with the reasons. At 80 or above it raises an alert. It does not send the reply. The decision is sales lead qualification.
- Source
- The campaign, referral, or answer engine kept on the lead. It is lead source on the record.
- Recovery message
- The single message about a partial, sent only when consent names the follow-up. The rule is one recovery message.
- Recovered
- The status after a partial is submitted from the recovery message. The message itself is one recovery message.
- Speed to lead
- The published response times, including the 2011 study of 2,241 firms. The note is speed to lead.
